OUTSTANDING IDEA! I purchased this item to assist me at work, closing flaps of floor tile boxes that customers had opened. Working in a large home improvement store, I found that customers tended to open the flaps of the floor tile boxes to see what the tile inside looked like. By the end of the day, this left a mess to clean up.The gun was convenient and held a charge for over an hour, while I worked to repair the damage the customers did to the packages.
The relatively inexpensive gun saved thousands in damaged packaging and lost sales.
I found the gun was a little slow to heat up. This caused a problem because if the trigger was pressed before the gun was hot enough, the glue stick would bend and kink inside the gun. It also tended to stretch the "gripper" that pushed the glue stick through the gun.
Once I got the hang of it, the gun was great! It prevented me having to lift the heavy boxes of tile off the shelf. I could make my repairs where the heavy merchandise was, right on the display shelf.
